My mom is in town this week and I couldn’t be happier that she is here. At my age when mom comes to town, you let her do her thing. If she wants to do all eight loads of laundry, tell her to go for it! If she says “honey, where is floor cleaner, I’m going to scrub the floor.” say, I’ll show you. And if she feels the need to help wash all the dishes, I know I’ll be ever-so-grateful. We always have a lot of fun when she is in town, especially in the kitchen. She recently bought a juicer and makes juice every morning. So I thought I would make some juice to keep us going on our day of adventure.
My husband will be working today, he’s filming and producing a music video, so the girls will go out and play. Mom recently saw on Facebook that one of her friends came to Nashville and went to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, mom was surprised that she had never been and didn’t want to miss out on the fun. So, here’s to a day full of new adventures.
The base of this juice is pineapple, which is one of my favorites. If you are trying to mask the flavor of any vegetables, pineapple is sure to cover it up. The recipe isn’t complicated but the taste is perfect.
