Valentine’s Brunch

I’m always looking for a reason to host a party, especially if girl friends and brunch are involved. I invited a few friends over to the Wendell Home for french toast, sparkling beet juice, and chocolate covered strawberries to

celebrate Valentine’s Day.

We laughed and ate and had the best time. All of these photos were taken by the talented Alyssa Joy

Sparkling Beet Juice


  • 4 beets, peeled
  • 1 pineapple, peeled
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 1 bottle sparkling water


  1. Juice all produce and pour into glass container and chill. When ready to serve, pour juice into a glass until half full. Fill the rest of the glass with sparkling water. Enjoy!
