Draper James Garden Party

June 22, 2017

When my friend, Katie of Styling My Everyday, asked me to join in on this summer garden party, I was thrilled. There are few things that thrill me more than preparing for a party, especially when flowers, good food and new friends are involved. She had a vision and with the help of Abi of Abigail T Calligraphy, and Evin of Evin Photography and a few of my summer recipes, we made it a reality.

The real star of the party was the beautiful clothes and accessories by Reese Witherspoon’s, Draper James. Each piece shown is a part of the new summer collection, and I must say I love them. The plaid and lighter fabrics are perfect for warm weather. The bright blues and pinks are eye-catching and if I had to pick, I’d say these might be some of my favorite pieces that the brand has launched.

You know I’m all about making memories and this was certainly a day to remember! We talked girl-talk, sipped on lemon tea and laughed like we were kids. Katie’s Lemon Cake with Lavendar Frosting, Abigail’s beautifully detailed, handwritten place settings and my Watermelon Mint Salad and Panzanella Salad all accompanied one another so well. It was the perfect day!

I’m wearing the Parton Check Melrose Romper.

Katie looks so lovely in the Parton Check Mary Beth Halter Dress

Abi is wearing the blue Sarabeth Gingham Dress, and looks amazing in it!

Katie’s daughter, Emmaline stole everyone’s attention in her sweet little pink dress.

Evin captured the day so beautifully and really made the experience come to life through these pictures.
